At Centrient, independent ESG ratings and global affiliations play a vital role in shaping our sustainability strategy. They provide objective insights into our performance, highlight areas for improvement, and help us stay aligned with evolving stakeholder expectations.

We actively participate in assessments by EcoVadis, a leading provider of sustainability ratings for global supply chains. These evaluations cover key ESG themes—Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement—and offer valuable input to strengthen our practices across the business.

We also align with internationally recognized frameworks through our membership in the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC). By committing to its ten principles on human rights, labour, environment, and anti-corruption, we reinforce our dedication to responsible business conduct and continuous learning.

These external benchmarks are more than validation—they’re tools that help us raise the bar, drive transparency, and deliver impact across our value chain.

Centrient's commitments

Third-party ESG ratings are independent assessments that evaluate a company’s performance on environmental, social, and governance criteria. These ratings help benchmark progress, enhance transparency, and demonstrate alignment with globally recognized sustainability frameworks. At Centrient, we’ve set a specific target to maintain top ESG ratings as part of our commitment to responsible business practices. By continuously improving our performance and operating in line with trusted standards, we reinforce our credibility with stakeholders and drive long-term value through sustainability. Namely, our target is as follows:

  • Maintain high-scoring third-party rating/certification of ESG efforts by 2030

What we achieved in 2024

  • Earning a Gold Sustainability Rating from EcoVadis for the 5th consecutive year in 2024 (top 5% of all companies assessed and top 4% in our industry for manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and preparations)
  • Joining the UN Global Compact (UNGC) —aligning our ESG strategy and targets with one of the world’s largest corporate sustainability platforms
