The Supply Chain and S&OP department has a vacancy in its team for the following position:

Project Manager in Planning, S&OP and Supply Chain

We are searching for a Project Manager to support our Supply Chain department - we are heavily focused on Planning (Demand/Supply Planning, S&OP) within our scope, so the ideal candidate should have experience in Planning (either as project manager or demand/supply planner in a previous role), with additional Supply Chain experience (e.g., in warehouse improvement projects) a plus. This role is an analytical role, where the project manager is expected to manage improvement projects within this scope end-to-end: from defining the initial project planning and stakeholder involvement required, as well as the project team structure, identifying the key hypothesis for project success, pushing the analysis to identify the best solution for Centrient up to final implementation of the identified solutions. 

The Project Manager is expected to deliver projects assigned to them, ensure the right level of stakeholder engagement, and delivery project goals on time. 

Reporting directly to the Head of S&OP and Supply Chain Excellence, you will be part of a 3-person global team that is driving continuous improvement projects within the Supply Chain functions (Planning/S&OP, Raw Material Planning, Warehouse, Distribution) across all sites and franchises.

The main activities and responsibilities

  • Independently lead implementation of improvement projects; define the project plan and take full ownership for delivery against target for relevant projects.
  • Align with internal stakeholders to drive projects for improvements.
  • Run Process improvement workshops to identify and close process gaps.
  • Identify further improvement opportunities in the organization; support the head of S&OP and Supply Chain Excellence in defining the future improvement plan each year.
  • Ensure adequate and sustainable capability building of teams and individuals involved e.g., on in project management, analytics and data-driven decision making.
  • Steer and optimally leverage third parties (e.g., Consultants) where relevant in the process.

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in Engineering, Business Management, Supply Chain. Masters degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in project management or consulting with a focus on Supply Chain. Planning experience preferred (demand/supply planning, S&OP), with other Supply Chain Experience a plus (warehouse, distribution etc.,).  
  • Strong track record in delivering change trajectories, process improvement trajectories, continuous improvement projects or similar.
  • Analytical and quantitative skills to generate hypothesis and define data-driven solutions appropriate for each project.
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to analyse data, present in a structured and concise way to drive decisions.
  • Strong personal accountability and a willingness to engage others to drive project success.
  • Fluent in English (both oral and in written). 
  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in SAP ECC, SAP IBP a plus.
